WWF Malaysia to organise virtual run in conjunction with Earth Hour

KUALA LUMPUR, March 25 (Bernama) – WWF Malaysia in partnership with JomRun, is having an Earth Hour Virtual Run for Nature from March 27 to April 22 in conjunction with Earth Hour tomorrow.

Apart from the virtual run, Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower as iconic landmarks of the country will be switching their lights off as per Earth Hour tradition, as part of two key activities held to mark the organisation’s 50th anniversary of nature conservation efforts this year.

“Earth Hour was founded to unite the world in support of people and the planet. Our vision has always been to create positive environmental impacts through the power of the crowd.

“This year, Earth Hour is even more meaningful as it marks WWF Malaysia’s 50 years of nature conservation efforts,” WWF Malaysia executive director and chief executive officer Sophia Lim said in a statement today.
