The Tokushima International Consumer’s Forum 2021 live-streaming on Oct 26

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 — The consumer policy department of the Tokushima Prefectural Government is promoting initiatives for consumer administration and education.

This is in cooperation with the Consumer Affairs Agency’s Strategic Headquarters for Frontiers of Consumer Policy, a Japanese governmental body established in Tokushima Prefecture as a national hub of policy development and international operations in consumer administration.

According to a statement, the live-streaming of The Tokushima International Consumer’s Forum 2021 will be held on Oct 26.

The Tokushima International Consumer’s Forum 2021 organised by the Tokushima Prefectural Government, brings together officials of the Consumer Affairs Agency of Japan and experts in consumer issues from Europe, the US, Australia and ASEAN countries.

This is to discuss consumer problems and solutions to facilitate the process of building a sustainable society in light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the progress of digital society.

The Forum will be live-streamed on the website. It is hoped the Forum will facilitate forward-looking discussions and contribute to international consumer policies, and help improve people’s lives as consumers worldwide.
