Public urged to use MOH SisPAA to help improve services – Melaka Exco

MELAKA, Aug 31 (Bernama) — Melaka residents have been urged to use the Ministry of Health (MOH) Public Agency Complaint Management System (SisPAA) to help improve the services and facilities of government hospitals and clinics in the state.

State Health and Anti-Drug Committee chairman Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh said many still did not know about thesystem and, instead, were more inclined to use social media sites to express their dissatisfaction with the services provided at the MOH facilities.

“If there is any complaint, not just in the health sector but in every sector, I urged that you use the SisPAA website so that we get the complaints directly from the public. No need to fear making a complaint through this system.

“Even I’ve received complaints channelled to us through this system regarding hospitals and health clinics with certain problems,” he told reporters when met after attending the Merdeka Baby programme at the Melaka Hospital here today.

He had earlier accompanied Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali visit nine babies born on National Day today at the hospital.

Dr Muhamad Akmal said that, so far, appropriate short and long-term action had been taken on all complaints received.

However, he admitted that not all complaints received could be solved within 24 hours but, at least, with this system, the state government and the relevant executive councillors would be aware of the existing problems.

“We can not take care of everything but, with this system, it will raise awareness of the problems that exist and assist us to provide better services to the people,” he said.
