Kelantan MTMD approves two proposal papers to combat drugs

KOTA BHARU, Sept 28 (Bernama) — The Kelantan Drugs Eradication Action Council (MTMD) meeting today approved two proposal papers, namely, on the direction in combating drug and substance abuse and the implementation of a programme focused on eradicating social diversion and substance abuse issues in the state.

Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob chaired the meeting at Kota Darulnaim Complex here.

“The Kelantan MTMD also discussed the problem of drug abuse, drugs and social distractions and arrived at decisions to make several recommendations.

“Meanwhile,  two reports were also presented, by the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) and the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK),” he said in a statement today.

The meeting was also attended by AADK Enforcement and Security Division director Azmi Mustafa and Kelantan AADK director Rohayu Ahmad.
