‘Jom Sahur Bernama’ programme appreciates night shift staff

KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 (Bernama) — The Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) today organised the ‘Jom Sahur Bernama’ programme to appreciate its staff, especially those on night shift duty.

Bernama Acting Chief Executive Officer, Roslan Ariffin, said the sahur (pre-dawn) meals programme, held for the second consecutive year, will continue in the coming years as it has family values for all Bernama employees.

“This kind of event should be held regularly,” he said when met at the event today.

According to Roslan, several departments in Bernama, such as the technical as well as operational and security, are required to operate around the clock to ensure that Bernama’s operations run smoothly.
