KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 (Bernama) — Yayasan Hasanah (Hasanah), a foundation under Khazanah Nasional Bhd (Khazanah), has opened applications for its Arts for All Seasons (ArtsFAS) grant for this year, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance.
Hasanah said that those who are interested in applying for the ArtsFAS grant will have to undergo an eligibility assessment, and the eligible candidates will then receive a link to apply through a dedicated online platform.
The ArtsFAS is a platform to showcase Malaysia’s preserved and conserved arts, heritage, and culture in a public event that aims to educate the younger generation and the larger community through technology, knowledge exchange, and art events, as well as conservation through activation, to make arts accessible for all, said Hasanah in a statement today.
According to the statement, the foundation has contributed a total of RM1.68 million through the ArtsFAS grant for programmes nationwide last year. Also, through the programmes it supported, ArtsFAS has generated economic opportunities for more than 1,300 arts practitioners.
“All recipients of the grant are expected to host their projects between September and December 2022, with selected artists to be showcased during the CIMB Group’s ArtTober event, as well as MyCreative Ventures Sdn Bhd’s RIUH events,” the statement read.
