FBM KLCI futures end mostly lower

KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly lower today, tracking the slightly weaker performance of the underlying cash market.

At the close, August 2022 added 1.5 points to 1,520, while September 2022 slipped 1.5 points to 1,503.5, December 2022 fell 1.0 point 1,504.0, and March 2023 eased 0.5 of-a-point to 1,498.0.

Turnover decreased to 8,727 lots from 8,879 lots on Tuesday, while open interest narrowed to 42,918 contracts from 44,109 contracts previously.

The FBM KLCI eased 0.62 of-a-point to end at 1,518.16 compared with Tuesday’s close of 1,518.78.
