KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mixed today amid the slightly better performance of the underlying cash market.
At the close, August 2021 added 0.5 of-a-point to 1,524.5, September 2021 eased 0.5 of-a-point to 1,512.0, December 2021 fell 1.0 point to 1,498.5, while March 2022 gained 1.5 point to 1,491.0.
Turnover edged down to 7,943 lots from 8,486 lots on Tuesday, while open interest increased to 39,969 contracts from 39,215 contracts yesterday.
The FBM KLCI rose 1.65 points to end the day at 1,525.24 from Tuesday’s close of 1,523.59.
