EDUCATORS NEED TO COME TOGETHER, INSPIRE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS

All educators should come together and form a single leadership based on a work culture based on mutual trust and inspiration to bring about the development of intellectual students with high moral values.

Education director-general Datuk Pkharuddin Ghazali said this work culture will blossom within educators when there is cooperation at various levels and form the core strength of the ministry in ensuring important planning could be conducted well and achieve the desired success.

“I’m confident that with the principle of togetherness, openness and gratefulness in educators, it will bring progress to national education as we have the values of mutual trust and inspiration.

“We must always strive to implement improvements to the national education ecosystem, especially digital education in line with global educational developments,” he said during his speech at the MADANI Cakna programme with Education Ministry officers at the University Sains Malaysia Kubang Kerian medical campus, in the presence of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek.

He also said that the Anak Yang Baik lagi Cerdik (ABC) concept needed to be instilled to ensure students with discipline, civility and politeness, which would bring about a stable and harmonious studying environment.

“The ABC concept is in line with the seven core aspirations that are the ministry’s main thrust in focusing on aspects of karamah insaniah through the formation of integrity, manners and civility in students.

“ABC will not only bring about a society that supports each other but will educate them in being civil and disciplined, law-abiding and promotes healthy competition amongst themselves,” Pkharuddin said.

He also urged educators to come together and use the spirit of togetherness to move in unison to support the national education system and create a MADANI society.
