Consumer programme B3M to ensure consumers spend wisely

PADANG BESAR, Aug 18 (Bernama) — Consumerism programme ‘Bijak Membeli, Menang Memakai (B3M) can educate consumers not to be easily duped by fraud and provides guidance on how to lodge a report with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumers Affairs (KPDNHEP).

Perlis KPDNHEP chief enforcement officer Mohamad Amir Abdullah said the initiative was to build high consumerism awareness and help the people to carry out their responsibilities as good consumers.

“Consumers need to be smart to ensure that they can enjoy more savings in every purchase,” he told Bernama after launching the B3M at the Felda Mata Ayer Hall today.

He added that KPDNHEP also welcomes consumers to continue to spend wisely and support the recovery of the national economy.

Mohamad Amir also called on consumers to prepare a shopping list that can guide consumers to spend wisely and buy at a lower price.
