Sri Lanka’s Sachin Dias and Thilini Hendahewa overcame India’s M.R. Arjun and Treesa Jolly 21-16, 22-20 in a final that lasted 36 minutes to clinch the Mixed Doubles title at the Odisha Open Super 100 badminton tournament in Cuttack on Sunday. The victory for the duo is considered as one of their biggest career wins and also a historic win for the Sri Lanka. “This is the first Super 100 championship title won by Sri Lanka.
