MPC did not neglect welfare of para athletes

KUALA LUMPUR, The Malaysia Paralympic Council (MPC) has always been looking after its former athletes and did not take a hands-off attitude after a recent posting on highway cycling gold medalist at the 9th ASEAN Para Games, Mohamad Syazwan Roshdi went viral.

MPC vice-president Datuk R. Subramaniam said MPC came to know the case after the posting was reported in the local media.

“He should have come to us and we can advise and put the case to the right agency. In this way, the problem would be solved, he said when met at the Paralympic Games Excellence Centre in Kampung Pandan yesterday.
