Moroccan enthronement day celebrated (Regional Times (Pakistan))

To mark the 16th Enthronement Anniversary of His Majesty King Mohammad VI of Kingdom of Morocco, Ambassador of Morocco to Pakistan H.E. Mustapha Salahdine and Mirza Ishtiaq Baig, Hon. Consul General of Morocco hosted a reception at a local hotel in Karachi. The Chief Guest of the event was Minister for Information, Nisar Ahmed Khoro. On this auspicious occasion the portrait of H.M. King Mohammad VI was displayed and the hall was decorated with the national flags of Morocco and Pakistan.

The ceremony was started by playing the National Anthem of both the countries followed by a cake cutting ceremony by the Chief Guest along with Ambassador, Consul General of Morocco and the diplomats of various countries. In his speech the Ambassador of Morocco thanked Nisar Ahmed Khoro for gracing the occasion and emphasizes to increase people to people contact between both the countries. Nisar Ahmed Khoro praised the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Morocco and appreciated the efforts of Hon. Consul General Mirza Ishtiaq Baig for playing a very active role in promoting the bilateral trade, culture and tourism between the two countries. Hon. Consul General of Morocco Mirza Ishtiaq Baig thanked the Chief Guest, Ambassador of Morocco and the distinguish guests for attending the Enthronement reception.

The reception was attended by Consul Generals of USA, China, Switzerland, Russia, Iran, Oman, Malaysia , Indonesia, Bangladesh, Deputy Chief of Protocol, Sohail Siddqui Chief Justice Sharia Court (R) Agha Rafiq, Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Shehnaz Wazir Ali, Zeba Bakhtiar and other distinguish guests from all walks of life. Moroccan cuisine specially prepared on this occasion was served.
