MALAYSIA: SINGAPORE DPM ARRIVES IN KOTA KINABALU FOR THREE-DAY VISIT TO SABAH STATE

KOTA KINABALU, Sabah state, Malaysia Sept 7 (NNN-Bernama) Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean arrived here today for a three-day visit to Sabah.

The flight carrying Teo and wife Chew Poh Yim landed at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport at 2.05pm and they were welcomed by Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Christina Liew.

Later this afternoon. Teo is scheduled to attend a briefing on Sabah’s tourism industry by the state’s Tourism, Culture and Environment Ministry at a hotel here.

In the evening, Teo will be feted to a dinner hosted by the Sabah government led by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.

Tomorrow morning, Teo is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Sabah Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Juhar Mahiruddin.

In the afternoon, Teo is scheduled to visit the Royal Malaysian Navy base in Sepanggar.

He is scheduled to return to Singapore on Sunday morning.
