KOTA KINABALU, Sabah state, malaysia May 7 (NNN-Bernama) � Najib Tun Razak returned to Kuala Lumpur this evening in an AirAsia aircraft sporting the livery ‘Hebatkan Negaraku’ (Make My Country Greater), the theme of the Barisan Nasional election manifesto.
The Prime Minister, who had concluded his two-day visit to Sabah state, posed for a photograph with Sabah state leaders with the A330-300 aircraft in the background at the international airport here before boarding the plane for the flight to the federal capital.
Najib had arrived at the airport at about 4 pm after concluding his visit to Kota Marudu for a meeting with the people.
He was accompanied by Sabah state deputy chief ministers Joseph Pairin Kitingan and Yahya Hussin, Sabah state secretary Sukarti Wakiman and several senior government officers. Also present was AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes.
During the Sabah visit, Najib attended a gathering of the people at Dewan Hongkod Koisaan in Penampang yesterday, and officially opened the Keningau Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) and attended a gathering of the people in Beaufort and Kota Marudu today.–NNN-BERNAMA
