MALAYSIA: NIGERIAN MAN FINED FOR SMOKING IN COURT COMPOIUND

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia Sept 24 (NNN-Bernama) � A Nigerian businessman was slapped with a RM500 fine by the Magistrate’s Court here today for smoking in the compound of the Jalan Duta Court Complex, which is a restricted area.

Magistrate Wong Chai Sia meted out the fine on Ezenwugo Titus Uche, 38, who pleaded guilty to the charge, which was read out to him in English.

He paid the fine.

Ezenwugo was charged with committing the offence at Aras 2, Mahkamah Majistret Jenayah 8, Kompleks Mahkamah Jalan Duta here at 10.30 am last April 12.
