PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia April 27 (NNN-Bernama) � The Communications and Multimedia Ministry today launched a programme with the aim of integrating the efforts of welfare bodies under the ministry to carry out activities jointly in line with the Blue Ocean Strategy.
The ‘Komuniti@KKMM’ programme is the brainchild of ministry secretary-general Dr Sharifah Zarah Syed Ahmad who wants to establish a KKMM community that is creative and has the spirit of togetherness among the affiliated representatives of the employees.
The affiliation of the employees’ representatives includes the KKMM Club, Association of Wives of Public Servants and Women in the Public Service (Puspanita), Departmental Joint Councils and Public Service Counselling Associates (AKRAB).
Ministry deputy secretary-general (operations) Dr Mohd Ali Mohamad Nor, who launched the Komuniti@KKMM on behalf of Sharifah Zarah, said in his speech that the programme was the best platform for the ministry to implement improvements.
The programme will also be extended for implementation in the departments and agencies under the ministry, he said.
In conjunction with the launch of the Komuniti@KKMM, the affiliation of employees’ representatives conducted a health-awareness programme with the theme ‘Health is Wealth’ aimed at getting employees of the ministry to prioritise health in their daily life.
The activities of the health-awareness programme included health talks, briefing on group insurance, health screening and a blood-donation campaign.–NNN-BERNAMA
