MALAYSIA: FIRST TIME AT THE POLLS FOR TWIN SISTERS

ALOR SETAR, Kedah state, Malaysia A set of twin sisters Farah Zulkefli and Sarah Zulkefli are thrilled at the chance to vote for the first time today.

The 26-year-old accountants cast their ballots at at the Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato’ Syed Omar, Jalan Sultanah here.

Sarah said she felt relieved having exercised her responsibility as a citizen.

“There was a simulation of the polling process when we were still schooling, but back then we just watched what will happen on polling day. Today we get to experience it ourselves and all is well, she told Bernama here.

The twin sisters, who are working in Alor Setar and Penang respectively, arrived at the school at 7.55 am to vote.
