Lee Jin Bok re-appointed as Tourism and Culture Ambassador

KUALA LUMPUR, A prominent South Korean businessman and tourism expert, Datuk Lee Jin Bok has been re-appointed as one of the Tourism and Culture Ambassadors for Malaysia.

This was announced by Tourism, Arts and Culture Deputy Minister, Muhammad Bakhtiar Wan Chik during the Korea Chinese New Year Open House hosted by Lee, here, today.

Born in Incheon, South Korea, Lee, 81, was appointed as Tourism Ambassador since 2009 in seeking strategic endorsements to promote Malaysia among Koreans.

He is honorary ambassador for the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, and advisor for the Malaysia Tourism Advisory Council in South Korea.
