GPS will defend the rights of Sarawak and its people – Chief Minister

KUCHING, Jan 9 (Bernama) — The Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) is the coalition that will defend the state’s rights in accordance with the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63), the Federal Constitution and the Sarawak Constitution, said Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.

We will defend Sarawak according to the constitution, by defending and ensuring justice to the multi-racial and multi-religious society in the state, he said.

Abang Johari, who is also GPS chairman and president of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), said this in his speech at the launch of GPS roadshow programme to introduce its logo and anthem at the PBB headquarters here today.
