Forest Interactive CEO named Young Entrepreneur of the Year

KUALA LUMPUR, Forest Interactive chief executive officer (CEO), Johary Mustapha was recently named ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability (ACES) Awards 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand.

He was selected among 300 nominations across the region and was the only Malaysian in the Leadership (Individual Category).

We started the company with a staff of three and the firm belief that telecommunications is the wave of the future. Today, we deliver mobile messaging and content services to over 93 mobile operators across 35 different countries, he said.

Johary started Forest Interactive with mobile content services in 2006. The company has developed several IPs related to digital content distribution which enable deployment of a Platform-As-A-Service for Mobile Network Operators.

The ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ award is bestowed to only one recipient annually from across Asia as recognition for the exceptional business performance towards the status of a mega brand.

The winner embodies fine values, strong beliefs and unwavering dedication in the entrepreneurial pursuit, thus serving as an inspiration for aspiring young leaders.
