Didian introduce B2B digital platform to help drive property sales

PETALING JAYA, Didian Realtor Sdn Bhd, a property technology firm has launched Malaysia’s first business to business (B2B) property market place platform that connects property developers with real estate agents and negotiators, to drive the property sales.

Its director Chow Nam Kit said nine curated projects comprising 1,800 units by eight developers with gross development value close to RM1 billion are currently available on the platform.

To date, 300 agents and negotiators have registered with the platform during the testing phase with over 80 successful selling, collecting about RM4.5 million in terms of express commissions, he told reporters at the launch of the platform here today.

Available in both web and mobile versions, the platform digitises sales process by making it simpler, including digital booking, real-time data access and backend administrative process, allowing agents and negotiators to focus on their sales.

Didian also offered a seven-day express commission scheme, payable from the date of the sales and purchase agreement and loan agreement were signed, instead of the usual between three to six months.

For many years, I have seen the delay in commissions affecting their cash flow and livelihood which prompted the desire to address the issue, he commented.

Chow said the platform would also allow negotiators to take part in selling projects by reputable developers regardless of the size and geographic area of the project.

He said for now, the focus of the sales were primary properties, curated units at projects that were under construction or close to completion in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, in the categories of affordable housing of less than RM500,000 and up to slightly above RM1 million of landed and high-rise properties.

During the event today, the company also signed a strategic collaboration with StarProperty, a part of Star Media Group Bhd, to work together on co-marketing the platform to both the real estate fraternity and property developers.

Chow said via the collaboration, Didian would be able to access to 20,000 agents available on StarProperty.

He added the collaboration would also enhance awareness of the platform among real estate players and property developers.
