Daiynal Shah(Masters) Mohammad Rizwan (Amateurs) and Anam Fahad (Women) Win the Titles of 12th Royal Rodale Independence Day Bowling Tournament 2015.

70 Male and Female Bowlers played the Finals of 12th Independence Day Bowling Tournament 2015 16th August 2015 at Royal Rodale Club, DHA Jointly Present by Sindh Tenpin Bowling Association (STBA) and Royal Rodale Club under the category of *Masters, Amateurs, Women’s Singles and Trio Event.

OPEN SINGLES: Youngster Daniyal Shah, lead the tournament with the outstanding average of 184, received PKR 10,000/- cash along with Winner Trophy, while Haroon Anwer was the runners-up with average 181, received PKR 7000/- cash with a trophy. Ali Suria secured 3rd position (180 Avg.) and received PKR 5000/- cash with a trophy and Shabbir Lashkerwala on 4th position with average of 177 and received PKR 3,000 cash with a trophy.

AMATEUR SINGLES: Mohammad Rizwan, had the victorious end with average of 170 and received PKR 7,500/- cash along with the Winning Trophy, while Syed Zia Rasool was the Runners-up with average of 156, received PKR 5,000/- cash with a trophy. Mohammad Raveel secured 3rd position with average of 147 and received PKR 3,000 cash with a trophy and Abdul Samad on 4th position with average of 146 and received PKR 2,000 cash with a trophy.

WOMEN’S SINGLES: Anam Fahad lead the Women Category in Independence Day

Tournament with the average of 157 (high score 202)and received 5,000 Cash Award along with Winning Trophy, *Noor Haironi was the runners-up with average 150 and received Rs.3,000 cash prize with a Runners up Trophies .Ramin Ali secured 3rd position with 125 Average and received 2,000 rupees and trophies.

TRIO (3 Men Team): TRIO (3 Men Team): The event concluded with an aggressive game where the team of Haroon Anwer, Mohsin Ali and Arshad Rajuput secured 1st position, received PKR 7,500/- cash along with the Winning Trophy. The 2nd Position was obtained by Shabbir Lashkarwala, Taha Muzammil and Mohammad Aqeel received PKR 4,500/- cash prize with Runners Up Trophies. The 3rd Position was secured by Nasim Ahmed ,Shazeb Memon and Sajjad Shah, received PKR 3,000 cash.

The Guest of Honour His Excellency Ismail Mohammad Bakri- Consul General of Malaysia, Mr Shakeel ur Rehman and Mr. Abdul Samad, Directors of The Royal Rodale Club honoured the Award Ceremony, accompanied by Mr. Aleem Agha, Sr. Vice President of STBA, Mr Shabbir Lashker Wala, Vice President of STBA, and Romis Ali, Founder General Secretary of STBA.

During the address to the bowling society, Mr. Shakeel ur Rehman Said Royal Rodale as a pioneer of Bowling in Pakistan, shall continue support to bowling in collaboration with STBA for organizing such tournaments and offering valued packages for the training of bowlers, special packages to STBA members and future exciting events. He distributed Cash Awards and Trophies to winning participant.

The Guest of Honour His Excellency Ismail Mohammad Bakri- Consul General of Malaysia said It is encouraging and surprising that Pakistani Youth have the Bowling skills of international standards and the event conducted and witnessed by me is evidence to the fact. I am quite impressed from Sindh Tenpin Bowling Association management Team and appreciate their way to promote the youth talent and their promotion. He stated that we will make an effort to arrange Certified Bowling Coach for Karachi and other Cities of Pakistan for training talented youth.

While talking to Media, Romis Ali, *Founder General Secretary of STBA said, We call this event of Pakistan Independence Day a treat to our bowlers. However the code of conduct and legitimacy of STBA has made the Bowling a progressive sport in the region and provided the consistency to retain its position in the winning circle. We are making all possible efforts to hear the dropping of Bowling Pins in every District of Sindh by

getting sports areas approved by Government for bowling alleys and installing professional lanes. The representation from Interior Sindh still haven’t left behind with the participation of players whose passion for bowling drags them down to Karachi Bowling Alleys all the way long from their residency.

Mr Aleem Agha Sr.V.P STBA also announced a lucky draw to give the evening a fabulous end, and registered members were given high importance and encouragement for their participation to create a lively and enjoyable environment after a tough competition. The winners were given Gift Hamper from The Royal Rodale, Tapal Tea and Dr Essa Pharmaceutical and complimentary soft drinks by COCA COLA.

He concluded the ceremony by giving a note of thanks to the participants, honourable guests and media for their dedicated support which resulted in the HUGE success of the event.
