Bangladeshi man dies after being crushed under forklift

KUALA LUMPUR, A Bangladeshi man died after he was believed to have been crushed under the forklift he was riding when it overturned on a road near the Ostrich Farm in Kampong Pasir, Jalan Sungai Lalang, Semenyih this evening.

A spokesman for the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said it received a call regarding the incident at about 5.32 pm and immediately deployed eight personnel and officers to the site.

“Upon arriving at the scene, the firemen found the victim known as Azmir crushed under the forklift and was confirmed dead at the scene by a medical officer from the Semenyih Health Clinic,” he said in a statement here tonight.
