GISBH: N. Sembilan Will Take Action After Authorities’ Decision – Aminuddin

SEREMBAN, The Negeri Sembilan government will take appropriate action on any matter related to GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) in the state after receiving a decision from the authorities.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said at the moment his team has left the matter completely to the authorities including the police, state religious department and local authorities.

‘Police have taken action; courts (involved) have charged; and investigations are ongoing, so I will it to them… and we await the decision of the prosecution or the next action,’ he told reporters.

‘The state government will look at the action of the authorities. The Seremban City Council will only take action if there is a decision by the court or if there is indeed a disturbance to the city, otherwise we will not take action.”

He said this after officiating the closing of the Islamic Arts Festival and state-level Healthy and Bright Kids Carnival which was also attended by the Community Development Department (KEMAS) deputy director
-general (Management and Development) Rafea’ah Nahar here today.

On Sept 11, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) launched Op Global, raiding 20 charity homes associated with GISBH in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan following allegations of child exploitation and religious activities misconduct.

Since the start of Op Global more than 300 individuals, including the top management of GISBH, were arrested and 572 victims were successfully rescued.
