Former USM Lecturer Prof Dr Ahmad Atory Dies

KUALA LUMPUR, Former lecturer at the School of Social Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Professor Dr Ahmad Atory Hussain, died at the age of 73 today.

The news of his passing was shared by his daughter, Nurul Ainun on Facebook today.

“This is to inform my father, Prof Dr Ahmad Atory Hussain, has returned to his Creator at 6.37 am, Sept 30, 2024, 26 Rabiulawal 1446, in the ICU ward of Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara.

“May my father’s soul be blessed and placed among the believers,” she said.

Ahmad Atory, a well-known political analyst in the country, served at USM as a lecturer for seven years, from 2008 to 2015.
